Gosh the weeks fly past. I really don’t know where the time goes.
This weeks happy things are
1. Personal best half marathon time – thankfully no photo for this as it wasn’t pretty! But 1.56.11 isn’t bad for an old bird
2. A window box in my favourite colours.
3. The sandwich of the moment. I adore this sandwich and could eat it every day. I do believe it has even taken over from cheese and coleslaw. It has just the right amount of crunch and spice from the gherkin and not too much mayo. Delish.
4. My small hound in his warm jacket with his ears flapping in the wind.

On my quest for the perfect spot for sunset photo taking I had a bit of a Twister moment last night. Remember the film? Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton chasing after twisters with a cab full of bits of coke cans with wings. Now admittedly l am not tall and willowy like Miss Hunt. Neither did I have a car full of coke can bits. Nor was there a beautiful ending. But you know I was there in spirit with my little camera, the soundtrack to my film moment on full blast, pedal to the metal, racing against time to find the illusive spot before the sun went down. (Is your heart pounding yet? )
In my reality I didn’t find that perfect spot but boy did I have fun looking (oh and daydreaming a bit that I was in a big movie with a handsome man like Pierce Brosnan of course)
